why do I need preventative maintenance?

Because device performance fluctuates over time, periodic calibration is required. On a quarterly basis, our Colour Specialist will come onsite to examine and update your entire colour profile. Since displays fluctuate the most, you can opt for Loop’s Enhanced Display Calibration service, which is performed at the same time as your regularly scheduled Preventative Maintenance.

do I have to sign a preventative maintenance agreement in order to get colour management?

No, you can sign a Colour Management agreement with Loop even if you don’t have a Preventative Maintenance agreement. However, you can only sign up for Enhanced Display Calibration if you have a Preventative Maintenance agreement since these services are performed at the same time.
